Appreciation.

This is a word, or rather a concept that I find of crucial value for the process I described in the previous post. The avail-ability to comprehend, in the original latin meaning of the word – grasp together, the situation, regardless of personal liking or disliking, with awareness and respect. Being in this place I see the best potential to deal with the information we receive during the dance making process, to respond to the environment as well as to be able to offer with generosity. From this place I can see growing the roots for an honest and genuine creative flow.
